Process
Solid paper 1 from APP Lush was used as the base of the page. Solid paper 2 was layered over it with the blending mode changed to color burn and duplicated two more times. Two FlutterBy FotoBlendz masks were merged together, making a larger mask, and the blending mode was changed to color burn. This allowed the texture of the paper to show through. The photo was clipped to the mask. Transfers from APP Lush were layered on and around the photo. Word art, stitchez and embellishments were added to complete the page.

I love hostas, especially ones with texture and polka dots ;-) Really lovely blending. Hostas are one of those things we can't really grow in CA, too hot, but I noticed amazing hostas growing in Portland, so maybe I can plant some in my daughter's yard :)

Ah the Hosta! I used to have these in England. They are such beautiful plants. Love the masking and that it goes down the page. Perfect.
