Journaling:
We took our June trip in late May in hopes of Yellowstone being less crowded. Maybe it was, but still there is no sense of solitude. We started the hike to Fountain Paint Pot and decided against it as there was a bus full of people on the boardwalk.

Love bluebirds! We use to have Eastern Blue Birds at the house, but I haven't seen them for years! Beautiful photo and love the inclusion of the map!

We had blue birds in the field next door but now a home stands there. Progress does not always leave room for the wonders of nature.

In my region,special housing is provided to attract the blue bird,since their numbers were declining. Every year,I have a family in one of my south facing birdhouses.. always a delight to spot one as they are so gorgeous..I have jays everyday,though.. Lovely page,love that texture and mm on the left!

Loving the map with the complimentary MM Sun opposite. Another wonderful photo you got. My family went to Yellowstone a few years ago during the girls' summer break, and I was shocked to see in the photographs at how crowded the park was. Bumper to bumper traffic with people doing such stupid things. I would not enjoy that. I don't blame you for leaving.
