I began my layout with Swell solid paper #6 and then positioned Swell Artsy Transfer #4 above it. To darken the background but keep the texture, I slid in Swell Solid paper #5 in between and blended it with Exclusion blending mode

I added the big Wood Word in the corner and then randomly chose a spot in the middle of the Artsy Transfer and dropped in Multi-Media frame No. 3_ 2. I clipped in the photoI had hit something by mistake on my cell phone camera so the photo was snapped overexposed and that's how I used it.

There was a sand transfer layer on top of the photo so I had to move that under the photo/frame but otherwise the placement of the frame worked out fine, as random as it was. My only tweak was to duplicate a sky transfer layer (it was already on vivid blending mode) for a little more blue at the top.

For embellishments I used thread and a shell, both snagged from the Multi-media Frames No. 3 set.

Then I added the title, date, and one of my favorite dog quotes, by Rudyard Kipling. To soften the look of the quote I duplicated the text and blended those layers together with overlay mode.
