When we were in Thailand it was Thai New Year "Songkran" Water festival on 13th April when everyone (locals or not)
soaked you with water guns, hosed you, poured buckets of water over you - or all of the above!!! (remember its crazy hot and
humid in Thailand) Everyone, no matter your background, the language you speak, your age, your status, all joined in.
The streets were packed and crowded - and filled with massive vats of water for re-fills.
People also smeared a chalky powder over faces. This is George sitting in a
beach shack, reading the dinner menu as though nothing extraordinary had happened!!
He was completely soaked to the bone and was covered in chalk (mainly his back and face!)

METHOD:
I took the background paperie, cut out one side, shrunk it then filled the gaps with the clone tool.
I added some transfers and brushes, flipping them, recolouring them.
I added the frame and the mask and clipped the photo.
I added the water drops for the water effect.
I placed the button and the stitch.
Added the journaling.
