I wanted the photos to take center stage here so decided to keep my layout very simple. These aren't good photos for blending, but I wanted some interest, so I framed them in the Artsy Edge Frames, which gave just enough pop. Then I added Solid Paper #1 from the Memento miniPalette for a background and put the blue on and around the photosthe blue comes from the transfers in the miniPalette, duplicated and set on Multiply blending mode to intensify the hue. I used the gold in the miniPalette transfers the same way.

I worked on the title nextjust like on the photos, the blue comes from the transfers, clipped to the letters, duplicated, then set on multiply mode for more oomph.

Lastly I did the brushwork under and over the photos, using the miniPalette brushes, and made a page overlay from a frame in the Thrive Artplay Palette. The button, Button Threadz, and journaling came last.
love these photos, especially the critter profiles, almost has that old fashioned look, cool use of products!

love your photo treatment and the cool design. cool in color palette and in general too.

Fabulous page! Admire anyone who can do grunge. I should have a go. Love how you created an irregular frame, the blue and the images/journaling are so interesting.

I love the grungy look, the bleu together with the other colors is great, I love the pictures and treatment, a gorgeous page!

I love the grungy look of your page and your fabulous photo treatment. I love the touches of blue on the photos. Sometimes I believe the less than so-called perfect photos are the most fun to work with. Your blending is outstanding and so is your journaling!
