Sun, Sea & Socks

What can I say...I've always loved my husband's sartorial sense of style ;) It might be because of arthritic bones but he LOVES the woolly socks I knit him; we were visiting Victoria and happily one of the days was beautiful and sunny so we stopped at a seafront bench to literally put our feet up for a little while...up got rolled the trouser legs and voila... :)

I started with a plain artsy paper then duplicated the photograph twice, the bottom layer on 62% fill and the top layer masked so only the shoes and legs visible on Darken mode to give a bit of a pop to the shoes. The rest is a selection of transfers and overlays from AT Beach and AT sun kissed layered together with selections from MM Suns. Last is word art and a button from Ap Sunkissed.

priceless... a man knows what he loves... and I love the feel of warmth from the glows... needed on this cold and snowy day in Colorado... another gem from you Miss F...

love the angle of the photo and his socks. I swear by handknitted ones too. great textures in the sky .

Brown is VERY HIP! For his wedding my son paired brown oxfords with his navy suit and white bow tie and apparently that is now very much in fashion...so you are quite correct in trusting your husband's sartorial style! But beyond THAT...what a fabulous layout!

Love the hand knitted socks and the perspective of the photo! Wonderful color and texture! How fun!

This is such a fun photo with those fabulous socks and shoes. Men know what they are comfortable in and that's that. Love the colors of the gorgeous textures.

Love this! Love the spiffy shoes and love-made socks, the sun and wordart, the journaling and the pair of "horizon" lines.

i, too, love his quirky style. and your socks are darlingdo you make a girls' version too? such a charming design!
