Sunkissed

Victoria trying to persuade Neve to wear the sunglasses she had bought her...lasted two minutes before a resolute "OFF" :)

I started with an artsy paper from the AP, layered the background photograph on top selecting Hard Light blending mode and erasing any parts I didn't want with a largish soft brush. The main figure I revealed using inverted masking technique then experimented with different blending modes applied to transfers and overlays layered behind until I got the balance of composition I liked. Two multi media suns are layered together with the warm fotoglow injecting a little pop of orangey warmth which compliments the teal ribbon and clothes Neve is wearing. Lastly I added a butterfly element, word art and journalling.

How cute. I always get tickled when little ones use that one pointer finger to push their glasses up and its always in the middle of the lens part. haha Wow two minutes. That was a good time in my experience with little girls. I love all your blending and masking. Beautiful sweet page.

Those shades and APP Sunkissed were made for each other!! Wonderful sense of depth here! Also love Neve's little romper and the bow in her hair! Our baby girl, Emery, is due May 19...can hardly wait!

Photos we can all identify with. So cute. Your extraction is awesome. Beautiful use of papers and elements.
