Process
Solid paper 4 from APP Downtown was used as the base of the page. Solid paper 1 from APP City Limits was blended over the base paper (blending mode changed to multiply and a reduced opacity) to allow the texture to show through. City Limits transfer 9 was added to the corner with APP Rock Star transfer 3 clipped to it and the blending mode changed to color. The photo of the band was clipped to 2 layers of the APP Canyon Frame (rotated) and APP Rock Star transfer 3 clipped to the bottom frame. The photo of my younger self was converted to black and white, clipped to a Watercolor FotoBlendz mask (recolored white with the blending mode changed to multiply). The record was scanned (yes, Ive saved this record for 52 years!) and resized with a custom shadow added. Embellishments, word art and journaling were added to complete the page.
Thank you for looking!
Simply adorable photo of you...I remember wearing my hair flipped with a headband! Fabulous page design, content, and journaling...I can just imagine that cute teen girl doing the twist!

This IS a fun layout! Wonderful use of textures and colors! It all comes together so nicely! (Love the picture of you with the then popular flip hairdo!!)

A great fun one! What a gorgeous memorie page, I love the black and white with red, you where a beautiful girl, so nice to see, the page is perfect!!

The return in the sixties ten is perfect ! For me it is Beatles which I saw in Paris in 1964! A whole time!

Being a Band Mom, I can really relate to this. Pages like this really grab the essence of why I am so passionate about memorykeeping. If you didn't document it, who would know? A round of applause for this rockin' layout!
