Rudbeckia

I went to the garden store last week when the weather was beautiful and warm to buy some flower seeds for the garden in hopes to plant. But it's been cold, gray with frosty mornings this week. Hopefully the seeds will germinate, but if not I have this digital visualization.

Process
The striped paper from APP Sunkissed was used for the background. Artsy Transfers Sunkissed_1 was opened. A scanned image of the seed packet was clipped to the cream paint layer, duplicated (images were linked) with the blending mode changed to hard light. The original image was duplicated two more times and clipped to the pink paint and pink stain layers. All the other layers were turned off and then began playing with them one by one, either resizing, recoloring, moving or deleting them. A composite image was made and imported onto the striped paper. The blending mode was changed to darken to allow the stripes to show through. Paint splatters from other AT Sunkissed were layered over the image. The striped layer from AT Anything was layered on to help give more texture and definition to the white area of the seed packet. MultiMedia Suns 2_2 was added. The fotoglow layers were turned off and a Warm Glow 1 was clipped to the sun image with the blending mode change to color and the opacity reduced. The thread was replaced with a Button Thread. Embellishments, word art, stitchez and button threadz were added to complete the page.
Thank you for looking!
Such a beautiful photo, but what impresses me most is your ability to use a bold striped BG paper. I admire what I can't seem to pull off myself!

This is lovely! Nice balance to the page with lots of little elements to give it interest.

ooh so pretty, love that striped paper, and the way you incorporated the seed packet text on the left. still frosty? omg I couldn't stand it...my sunflowers that I planted in Feb are already 3 feet high :)
such a pretty use of the Sunkissed products!

So pretty! We can't plant until mid-May here, but these look like some that would do well if they're already in pots at the store.

Very attractive page! I like these yellow flowers which illuminate the composition and the very soft lined(crossed off) bottom!

Wonderful way to use a seed packet, I hope they come up. I just planted three tiny balloon flower plants that I started from seed out in the yard this afternoon. This is a beautiful page!!

Your pages always look so great, this one is so sunny and fresh with the beautiful flowers, I love the sun and the bee, an awesome page!
