Oh! They are soooo cute! I had to laugh at the twisted leash lines as I am so familiar with that when walking my boys. haha I like how the gesso in background mimics the shadowing in the photo. Beautiful.

It just occurred to me where I've heard the Dandie Dinmont name. Wasn't that the farmer in one of Sir Walter Scott's books. Guy Mannering? He had a couple of dogs but can't remember what they were. Might be an interesting story there. I'll have to look it up.
