Process
I opened up 8x8 Artsy Template Album 1 pages 10 and 11. They were resized to 12 x 24 inches (my books are 12 x12). All layers were turned off except for the large fotoblendz mask and the photo mask for the frame. Pattern paper from APP Chills was used as the background for both pages. Artsy paper 4 from APP Adventure was layered over paper on the right side with the blending mode changed to multiply. The barn photo was clipped to the large fotoblendz, duplicated with the blending mode changed to hard light. The beach photo was clipped to the frame mask, duplicated with a gaussian blur added, blending mode changed to screen and the opacity reduced. Transfers from APP Chills and APP Adventure were layered onto the page. Next I began turning back on the hidden layers one by one, either recoloring, moving or deleting them. The opacity of the tape layers were reduced. Embellishments and journaling were added to complete the page. A warm glow was clipped to the bird charm and the blending mode was changed to color to make the charm gold.
