When your child has autism, every tiny step forward is a really big deal. This layout celebrates a very special "first" - my son picked a flower and gave it to me. No words, not yet, but they would come in time.
Text reads:
"One sunny day we all went for a walk in the field past the woods behind our house. Your sister picked a little flower for me, and then a really wonderful thing happened, you picked a dandelion bloom too and brought it to me. Suddenly the sun was a little warmer, the sky a little bluer, and I knew everything would be okay, no, better than okay... it would be quite wonderful."

The image is a bit more saturated than the original, I can't seem to keep my color from being over the top when I "save for web". I've tried bring the saturation down first, but it doesn't seem to help.
