AnnaColor - Dandelion

When your child has autism, every tiny step forward is a really big deal. This layout celebrates a very special "first" - my son picked a flower and gave it to me. No words, not yet, but they would come in time.

Text reads:
"One sunny day we all went for a walk in the field past the woods behind our house. Your sister picked a little flower for me, and then a really wonderful thing happened, you picked a dandelion bloom too and brought it to me. Suddenly the sun was a little warmer, the sky a little bluer, and I knew everything would be okay, no, better than okay... it would be quite wonderful."

The image is a bit more saturated than the original, I can't seem to keep my color from being over the top when I "save for web". I've tried bring the saturation down first, but it doesn't seem to help.
I've come to believe, over the last several decades, in the power of baby steps. The giving/receiving you have described here is certainly something to celebrate Big Time, and I'm feeling all warm for you guys. So glad you documented this special moment.

This is a very touching page and special reminder for those of us that are struggling to understand this illness. Cling to your hope and love!!

I know this kind of happiness and it makes me happy for you. Beautiful page. I hope there are many more dandelions in the days to come.

A wonderful page in every way, the composition is wonderful and your journalling warms my heart!
