The numbers in "Pi Day" are a Tagxedo word cloud clipped to one of the paint layers in Anna's template. For as long as it lasts (the developer is thinking about discontinuing the web app in favor of a smart phone app), Tagxedo is my new favorite way to quickly fill up a space with words (or numbers). If you poke around the options, you can save a creation as a png with a transparent BG. 4 MP png should be big enough for most things you want to do in a 3600x3600 LO's, but there's a 16 MP png option as well.
