Tagxedo word cloud from a news article I read regarding remarks House speaker Ryan made yesterday

I am really liking making brushes from a word cloud generator as a way to get a layer full of random types, opacities and sizes of fonts more quickly than stamping individual words with brushes. I use Tagxedo http://www.tagxedo.com/ now - it doesn't save to an account and doesn't do svgs, but the hi-res pngs you can save are large enough for a lot of purposes (most purposes if you're working 3600x3600 px). The interface can be confusing. Here are some notes that might help:

If you need an svg, you can try Jim Davies "Word Cloud Generator" https://www.jasondavies.com/wordcloud/ - the options are limited, but at least you get an svg

P.S. If you start using Tagxedo on your desktop, pls go to the Tagxedo Facebook page and plead for the developer to keep the web app available. He is developing a smartphone app and hasn't decided whether or not to discontinue the web app. Possible arguments: teachers need the desktop app b/c young kids don't have smartphones. I need higher res than can be provided on a smartphone.
