Journaling: Number 3 at the Golf Club of Estrella (near Phoenix, AZ) is very intimidating because it is surrounded by many deep bunkers. On Thursday, March 17, 2016, Dave, Greg and I were all on the green in one--a first for this 3-some! The course was designed by Jack Nicklaus, and is always one of our must-play courses on golf trips to Arizona. It was the first course Dave and I ever played in Arizona. Greg hustled us off the plane and out to the course, where we changed clothes and teed off.
