These baths, which we began to search on May 22nd, 1824, occupy in the North of the Forum an irregular quadrangle of 49m 50 in its biggest width, on a 53 meter depth, an island, insula, almost whole, confined by the streets of Thermal baths, Soprastanti and the Forum and the alley of Thermal baths; on these diverse streets, opened a large number of shops x without communication with the inside.
