The Coliseum, of its name of origin Amphitheater(Lecture hall) Flavien, was built by three emperors of the dynasty of the Flavia, Vespasien and his(her) two sons(threads) Titius and Domitian, avid to gain(win) the approval of the population. Vespasien (69 - 79), his(her) founder, was not of noble extraction. The military exploits of this simple son of publicain allowed him(her) to rise to power after the suicide of Nron. The expropriations and other misdeeds of the tyrant had irritated(deteriorated) the plebs which lives with satisfaction the new sovereign to dry up the stretch of water of Doma Aurea to set up on its place a place of public entertainment.
Constantin's Bow(Arc) is a triumphal arch in Rome, It was built by the Roman Senate to commemorate at the same time Constantin's victory in the Bridge(Deck) Milvius against Maxence on October 28th 312 as well as its 10 years of power. It was placed that near the Coliseum and near the Meta Sudans, Constantin who wants to associate its reign to that of the flavienne dynasty who(which) had set up these monuments. Inaugurated on July 25th 315, it is the last one ide the series of triumphal arches in Rome, in which he(it) distinguishes itself by his(its) systematic use of re-use of previous monuments.
