I am a "cat" personalways have been, always will be. Dogs are okay, but I'm not overly fond of them. Yet this adorable pup captured my heart one afternoon in Prescott. My favorite photographer and I were sipping warm beverages at the closest Starbucks to home. I was sitting on the love seat, he was sitting in the adjacent chair when a guy carrying what I thought was a gym bag sat in the opposite adjacent chair. When he opened the bag, this adorable pup jumped out, ran over to me and sat in my lap. He looked up at me with those sweet, beseeching eyes and my heart melted. His name was Ryan and he quickly became my new BFF. I petted him for almost an hour, while his owner and I chatted. When we finally had to leave, Ryan refused to return to his owner. He even ignored his "pupuccino" bribe. With a heavy heart, I handed him over. This cat lady would have gladly taken him home, but I suspect his "nice" owner would have had me arrested for dognapping. And every time we go back to that Starbucks, we look for Ryan. Sadly, no appearances yet; but I have hope that one day I'll see him again. Photo taken by my fav photog on his iPhone, he also used an app to create the sketch.
