Awesome Sauce Selfies

This is a whole page photo layout. My oldest granddaughter Autumn took these selfies, and this is her exact framing; I did NOT chop her head off. I used her feet in her brand new Converse sneakers photo as the background to build my layout on the white space.

Process Notes: After placing the main photo of Autumns feet, I turned off the visibility so I could work on the placement of the framed mask and second photo which I duplicated 3 more times. First layer Normal blend mode, second layer posterized, third photo layer Linear Burn 100% opacity, and the last photo layer Color Burn 29% opacity. Then I nudged the photo and frame to the top edge of the page.

Underneath the photo layers I place ArtsyTransfer 3, resizing it a little larger and using every beautiful layer and turned on the visibility of the main photo. Over the transfer and directly under the photo, I brushed on a mask from Different Strokes 2 and clipped ArtsyPaper 1 from the Euphoria Palette, positioning it how I wanted. I moved up a couple of layers from the artsy transfers placing them over the mask/paper and grunging them a little with Dripped Stains 6 using two colors from Autumns photo to bring down a little bit of the camo from her jacket. Over those layers I placed awesome from the Big Words Goodstuff.

Using a brush from the Euphoria Palette I stamped along the edge of the paper mask under the photo in red, adding a bit of bevel and emboss.

Then it was time to bring in MultiMedia Spring. Placing, resizing the tulip and daisy, turning off the visibility of a couple of pedals, I sandwiched the Autumn LineArt flower, clipping a paper from Family ArtPlay Palette. I clipped ArtsyPaper 2 to the leave, again positioning the paper to my liking and coloring the inside of the leaf with the red from the palette. Over that I stamped some splatter from Euphoria. In the middle of the LineArt I used the flower from Euphoria and recolored it using adjustment, hue and saturation and posterizing it.

Moving up the layers panel, I chose the Happiness WordART and added selfies, also embossing and beveling. Then on the frame I put the eye element and button threads along with the birdie holding one of the threadz in its mouth. And to complete the layout I put her name and year on the frame and the Scratched Overlays No. 1. And there you have it!
Love the "crops" even though they aren't cropped - you know what I mean!

This is very creative with an Artsy look, a great job! Everyday you learn more, I can see it at your pages and your interest, it's great to see!

Fabulous page! This deserves a Standing O today!
