The Mutter Museum

Sometimes I'll wake up early on a Sunday morning, knowing that Nigel and I have nothing planned for that day, and I'll execute a Google search of "Cool stuff to do in Philadelphia". This is what popped up this past weekend.
Philadelphia has long been at the forefront of medical research and advances. Our position as one of the most influential cities in the early years of our independence has given us a uniquely historical perspective of medicine. The Mutter Museum is dedicated to that perspective.
Walking into the museum you're transported to a time (the turn of the 19th century) when now defunct diseases; smallpox, syphilis etc... and genetic abnormalities and defects still ravaged the nation and doctors and medical researchers fought to gain control.
It's disturbing and frightening and disgusting and morose and sad all at the same time. But at the same time, there's a certain amount of triumph at having made it out of those dark ages.

I used Anna's:
Artsy Template Multipack 7-1
Distressed Frames #4
Distressed Corners and Edges #1
you and your son have great adventures, I think this would give me nightmares, awesome photos and fantastic page!

Steve the story teller! Love reading your stories. You are such an awesome dad.
