Apple Orchard At Rest

My son-in-law does a fabulous job managing apple, pear and cherry orchards in the valley and this is an apple orchard behind their house. His orchards are always in immaculate shape.

Process Notes: After processing my daughters photo ala Linda Davis https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lX1KdFwf9VE to bring out the branches of the dormant trees, I placed it on the Neige background paper than brushing away the bottom of the photo with AnnaBlendz Artsy No. 3. I duplicated the photo two more times using Darken blend mode at 100%, and Screen blendmode at 100% on the top photo layer.

Using ArtsyTranfers Neige I placed one layer along the bottom of the photo to mimic snow and the rest are placed above the photos staining and texturizing the sky and using the art strokes along the right side.

I also used a couple of the transfers from the Neige Palette along the bottom half of the layout on either side of the page, using Luminosity blend mode and Brightness and Contrast adjustment on the left transfer and leaving the right side transfer on Normal. Adding Tissue Textures to continue the snow down the page.

From there I used the dripped stains peeking out from under the photos, and adding the FotoGlow to the afternoon sun in the photo, putting it on Lighten blend mode at 100% opacity. I also used the snow flurries from SnowyFoto Blendz No. 3 over the photo with a Soft Light blend mode.

Adding the title, apple and button threads completed the page.
i love this photo, it is so perfectly titled. Wonderful snow blending, and love how it fills up the page. Beautiful work!

Really beautiful page. Love the rays of light and the little hint of tint they provide.

amazing -- to stark and lifeless - to abundant with color and fruit. It truly is a wonderful world we live in.

The bright light draws you right in! Nice word art with a little red pop! Great job!
