I started with opening Artsy Layered Template no 221. I made a new document letter sized, and I dragged the photo masks and frames into that new document! You have to have them all selected to do that in one move! I opened my photo and I went to image-adjustments threshold! I moved the slider until I got a sharp and crispy black and white stamp of my photo! This is a great way to make a stamp or even a brush out of a photo! I placed this stamp of my photo on top of the layers! Then I started selecting the photo masks and placing the paper from AAP Rockstar above the mask and I clipped them all 3! The girl on the photo has a camera- I placed a brush from a camera to accent that even more. I colored it. I placed my background paper and the transfers and brushes I took some from the template and drag them into the new document, and some of the kits, and resized and recolored them a bit. I placed the frame and bold brushes under the frames and clipped a paper from AAP Rockstar on the circels. ( duplicated and on Multiply blend mode) I duplicated the background paper and used only a part for the dotted line I wanted to use. I started playing with the wordarts. I placed my title. And I placed some staples and the red poststamp.
I love this! It's a fun, playful page. I've wanted to make a page like this, and you've shown me the way. I love the threshold effect and a new way at looking at the templates. Thank you!
