These are my granddaughters, who are teenagers now. Lately Ive been missing the little girls they were, remembering all the good times we had when they were little. They grow up so fast!

The Process: On top of the paper from APP Neige I placed the Snowy FotoBlendz, fitting it into the middle area of the paper. I put the main photo on it with a reverse adjustment layer, brushing and resizing the photo to fit. I left the photo on Normal mode and duplicated it once giving it a Hard Light blend mode and 25% opacity. I added a FotoGlow and gave the photo some punch. A couple of the snowy layers were added on top of it to give it a little texture.

I added a transfer from Neige in the upper left corner to give the paper more texture.

In the upper right corner under the main photo, I put a transfer from Neige and blended in another photo of when the girls were little, again using a reverse mask and duplicating it once putting it on Overlay mode and 62% opacity.

On the left side of the main photo I put another photo of the girls with a reverse adjustment layer blending them into the transfer with Luminosity blend mode at 71% opacity. Duplicating the layer one more time, I put it on Color Burn mode at 67% opacity.

From there I added the tissue textures, branch, lace transfer, button threads attaching the heart and title and journaling. I altered the multimedia heart a little by recoloring the stain and discarding the parts I didnt need. The line I placed under the journaling is a glyph. I tinkered with the photos before I put them in the layout. I think that just about covers it.
In a flash, for sure! Barbara, I just love the mix and arrangement of photos...very effective, visible expression of your text!

Really love how you worked in the photos from when they were younger.....beautiful!

What a precious layout. Love how you have the girls facing forward (memories) and walking away (representing the future).
