A slight break in my Pt Lobos series, but only in color, this photo was also taken there, on the last beach at the end of our hike.
Yes, I am in shorts and a T shirt on Feb 6. Our rainy season is taking a break and blessing us with temps in the 70s. I love CA!

Process:
This photo was very dark, looking right into the sun, so I used a levels adjustment and a hue/saturation adjustment to lighten and set to black & white, except I erased a portion of the adjustment to allow the gold at the bottom to show through.
A transfer from the APP was used as a mask, duplicated multiple times, yielding the fun loops. Photo was clipped to this, then supplemented with the lacy transfers at the side and a few more brushes and embellishments.
I wanted an anchor for my title/word art, so I placed the frame from the APP behind the photo, set to Lighten.
Another copy of the photo, with inverted masking and Hard Light mode, was used at the bottom and left edges.
Warm Glows and Multimedia snow was used to sparkle things.
To contain it all, I used a key line and a rounded rectangle (gray, opacity 15%).
Background is 2 papers from the APP, a solid white, then two copies of a beige paper set to Color Burn to dull the white a bit.
