This is a companion page to the one I did last week about the hill. I'm still striving to create double pages at once...I'll get there.
Meanwhile, another page featuring the wonderful colors of Artsy Transfers Chatter, coming soon.

Once again the first steps are to clip the photos I want to use to the fotoblendz and masks, and color the stains.
Then I added in Artsy Transfers Chatter to bring in lots of color and motion. I like how edge and bright these transfers are, to give edge to even a calm landscape.
The photo in the upper left was very dark. Even after using a levels adjustment I didn't like it. S I merged it to the fotoblendz, set it to Pin Light, and placed a flower texture over it (I used these flower textures on the companion page).
The photo in the topmost frame was too bright, the daffodil looked like a blob. So I added transfers to the frame under the photo, then set the photo to Screen (copy 1) and Darken (copy 2). This lets the lines and color of the transfer show through.
Almost done, but there was one more photo I wanted to use, of my apple blossom tree from the same day. I placed this on the background paper and set it to Hard Light. I got Van Gosh's almond blossoms!
Finished up with a few embellishments, and added journaling for both pages to the other page (which I will try to post here if I can get Photobucket to cooperate).
