I cannot say enough about how easy it is to create an artsy page with the Template Albums (beach, travel, or watercolor as I used here). Just plop in photos. One of the most fun things is coloring the stains to match the blended photo. After that I just add transfers and embellishments.
I made a lot of use of Artsy Kardz Summer Breeze. They are in one of the frames, and components are used:
To add texture to the page (be sure to duplicate them, not stretch them out, else theyll be too thin), To add light and strokes and spatters, Make use of word art (stroll)
For the card that is in the frame, to extend it beyond the frame, I expanded the frame shadow and clipped the Kard to the shadow, then softened the shadow, and added a separate shadow to the frame, for a fun effect.
The edge overlay is softened with a brown color overlay and reduced opacity.

This is the hill behind my house. The photo is sharpened but not color enhanced. This is how it looks in the winter. In summer its golden (aka so brown and dry it makes you thirsty to look at it). The hills are dotted with happy California cows this morning, they finally have something to graze upon.
