These are the tiniest little blossoms on my native manzanita plant. Our native garden which replaced a water-wasting lawn, is just about a year old. And I love it

- Started by creating my background with a solid paper from APP Love Letters and Artsy Transers Love Letters 1, 4 and 5.
- placed my photo amongst the transfers, adjusting placements, colors and opacities
- there are 3 copies of the photo, all with inverted masks, normal, overlay and soft light
- the frame is created by shrinking down a scriptease overlay and clipping a solid paper to it, then further 'pinking' the corners by using a glow from Multimedia Hearts
- the little 'botanical drawing' in the corner is made from 3 more copies of the photo, using the find edges filter, then creating a half tone, then painting back in some color with a watercolor bursh
- background texture strokes is from scattering copies of different strokes, set to divide so they appear white
- threadz (from MM Hearts) heart, strokes all recolored
Then to tone everything down and unify it all, I placed another artsy paper from APP Love Letters, used an artistic filter, and set the opacity to 5%; this adds a little gray and emphasizes some textures
