The Process: Using a green paper from Summers End slightly recolored I placed the rose photo brushing away areas of the photo I didnt want and duplicated it 5 more times, using different blend modes, opacities and filters until I got the look I wanted. I used the Posterized and Stamp filter on the fourth and sixth layers respectively turning down the opacity of each layer. In the upper right corner of the layout I put a gold transfer to cover up some unsightly green from the photo I didnt like and left it on Normal blend mode.
From there I chose a ArtsyTransfer 4 arranging each layer under the roses, turning, resizing and blending. I didnt use every layer in the transfer, deleting some and duplicating others. what a gorgeous transfer! I love that they come in layers to manipulate the way I want. Very handy. I also added some dripped stains here and there.
I also added taped and tissue textures to the paper to give the background some depth.
On the right edge I added a transfer from the Love Letters Palette, stains and brush from the palette. On top of that I placed the MultiMedia Hearts and added the title and InkedWords.
