Process
Solid paper 1 from APP Glacial was used as the background on a 12x12 page. Artsy Transfers Glacial_1 was opened up. The large white paint area was resized larger and a nautical map (photo taken of a postcard) was clipped to the layer. Other layers were move around or deleted. A composite image was made and placed over the background paper. Artsy Transfers Glacial_2 was opened. A pen and ink drawing (photo taken of a postcard) was clipped to the large paint area. Again, some layers were moved or deleted. A composite image was made and layered above the transfer of the nautical map and resized. Artsy Transfers Chills_3 was opened and the photo of the red lighthouse was clipped to the large paint area. Using a white brush, some of the transparent areas were painted in. A composite image was made and layered over the pen and ink drawing. Transfer 1 from APP Glacial was layered under all the other layers. Transfer_5 from APP Chills was added along with brush stroke 1. MultiMedia Winter 1_4 was added, along with some paint splatters from other clusters. More paint splatters from APP Vintage Summer and Across the Miles were layered on. A brush from Find My Way Brush Set 1 was added with the blending mode changed to soft light. Embellishments, word art and artstrokes were added to complete the page.
