Process:
I clipped the photos to the masks in the UrbanThreadz frames, lowering the opacity of the top photo. To create the full-opacity out-of-bounds effect of the lantern, I duplicated the photo, placed it on top of the frame, and masked out everything that wasn't the lantern with a blending brush.
The background is a combination of a full-size photo and several papers blended together on various blending modes. For the rectangular strip on the right, I used Aspera Solid Paper No. 1, positioning it on top of the layout, blending it on the multiply mode, and then masking most of the paper away with a blending brush.
I added the brushwork and color to my page next. The blue comes from the blue and gold layers in the Artsy Transfers, which I placed above and below various layers. I did the journaling and then, inspired by Tylertooo's King of the North layout, used her star and Threadz treatment
