A page for my daughter's album, documenting her recent trip to Costa Rica

Process:
I turned the big photo of my daughter into a sketch and placed it in the center of the template. I liked her serene smile, which seemed like a good match for a day spent at a yoga retreat. I tinted the photo lilac by placing a solid paper from the artplay palette on top, then masking the paper off the photo with a blending brush set to 60% opacity. I then arranged the hammock photos in the template frames and removed the other frames and some of the paint layers. Because there is a lot going on with this page, I chose a big photo of flowers to clip to the mask in the center, to reinforce the straight up-and-down flow. I then positioned the word art, added a few textures/transfers/overlays, the stitched hearts, and some embellishment. As a last step, I duplicated a postal transfer from the template and clipped it to the hearts that came with the artplay palette.
