We found this great old spooky Victorian house in Watsonville, CA when we went to my cousin's wedding. DH loved how it looked "haunted" so we kept making up ghost stories about it. Here's the house with some special effects to make it even spookier!
Journaling reads:

"Her last letter was sent from the old Whatley house but her fiance arrived and she was not there. Only her shoes were found on the stairs but she was never heard from again. Late at night people have reported seeing a shadowy woman in the window searching for her lost love."
