Process:
Background is two papers from APP Aspera, a dark paper in Soft Light mode over a light paper (normal). In between the two papers I placed a photo (on the right) in Darker Color mode and low opacity, 17%, a glow, and a transfer. Photo was clipped to a transfer, with additional transfers under and around to blend it.
I placed the frame with a paper inside it, then added an image from the internet taken from an 1890s book. Added strokes, more glows and embellishments to frame and accent everything, then added my journaling.

This is Mile Rock Beach at lands End in San Francisco, a favorite winter hiking spot.
