Me and my Mister on our traditional walk along St Andrew's beach on New Year's day 
I started with the cream background paper, duplicated, resized, rotated and erased the parts I didn't want in order to create the extra tape at the right hand corner. I clipped a beach photograph to ArtstyPaint, duplicated and changed the top layer to hard light to give more definition. The other photograph I used inverted masking to reveal the part I wanted, again duplicated with the top layer on hard light 50%. The rest is achieved by layering transfers, erasing some parts and then using the frame and a group of elements to balance the page, the little teal button echoes the colour of my scarf and leads the eye to the group of neutral coloured elements.
