Background and extracted cutlery - Thankful Heart bonus paper: retired
Process:
I altered my photo to give it a lot more light, then clipped it (and two duplicates) to brushes from the Metro Graffiti Brush Set. The challenge suggested using multi-colored FotoBlendz, so that's what I did, adding a solid-color fill layer to two of the brush masks. I also gave two of the masks small shadows. I added the background, cutting out a few more cutlery pieces to blend into the paper, then added more brushwork over and under the image, coloring some of it. Since the lift had the text spread out, I did that too, putting distance between the quote, the journaling and the title. To make the WoodWord stand out more, I used a simple inner bevel style and the night vision effect, then added a word strip, UrbanThreadz, and button for embellishment. I finished up with a 12x12 textured overlay on the overlay blend mode to add just a little extra grunge.
