soothes the soul

Since I did not force any bulbs this year.. I was pleasantly surprised that one of my rosemary's was blooming, when I watered yesterday in the sunroom. Nice gift for the days ahead...

I used: APP Why Not?

curled edge frames no.1

fluttery stitched LoopDaLoops no.1

Rise wordArt mix no.1

My process was nothing fancy... blending, color changes, and duplicates.

I blended a couple papers from the APP,then resized a couple for behind the photo. The frame was chosen and a shadow was applied. The elements were placed.I duplicated the loopdaloops to make it stand out a little better, then changed the color of my wordART to match the green colors of the image.I used a few brushes from the APP to add a little edging around the image and then... I think that was it.Oh,for the image,I used the inverted masking technique with Anna's artsy blends brushes...I also use these brushes to erase, they have a subtle edge and get rid of a lot of lines that I don't want to show up.Thanks for looking!!
this is so delicate and lovely! I never thought of growing rosemary indoors. We have tons of it outdoors, it's almost a weed in our area, always a plentiful supply for roast chicken :)

Beautiful surprise! Beautiful page also! Love the stitching and framing!
