Process:
Racing toward the deadline of the glittery Color Challenge, I was in a rush, so I made things simple by basing my layout on SnowyFotoblendz, which come with separate stain and snowflake layers. I clipped my large photo to the Fotoblendz then clipped glitter to the snowflake layers. I liked how the stains looked so just left them gray. I framed the small photo and positioned it, then then added the word art. I experimented with a number of artsy papers before settling on an artsy paper and a striped paper and blending them together on multiply mode. To finish up, I pulled in a few more snowflake layers from different SnowyFotoblendz and glitter-ized them as before, added a couple of texture layers, and added embellishments and journaling. Lastly, I added the Icy Santa, blended on soft light mode, mostly because I wanted an element to suggest my children's travels home.
