I had my dd take photos of a few of my ornaments, and since this little angel lost its hook, my dd is holding it. I had to laugh because she told me that she had just done her nails, so it would look nice in the photo.
Journaling reads: this sweet little angle, with her hands covering the cutest sideways smile was an ornament I came across at the Harvest Festival HandyCrafts Fair back in 1982. I couldnt resist that look of delight on her little face. Although I knew how the clay is made, and I figured eventually the metal hook would disintegrate I bought her. About 10 years of hanging on the tree, her hook did infect break, so now, instead of being hung, she rests upon the top of a branch, with her darling little expression of delight. She is much prized, even without a hook, and hopefully, someday I will replace the so that once again she can hang from a branch.

Process Notes: I began with an ArtsyPaper from APP Blitzen. I scaled it down, placing it on the same color card stock, and blended the edges. I added the frame and the photo. I copied the photo, placing it on top of the frame, and then used inverted masking to add the OOB portion of the ornament. I added the MM Reindeer, placing it so the stitching of the trees ended on the frame. I added the WordART, changing a portion of it to red, and adding a stroke and custom shadow. I then added additional transfers, and brushes around the photo. I added the journaling, and the year, using the Glitter Alpha. I added the word strips, and then placed the charm at the end of the 2, masking out a portion of the string. I added the SandScratched Overlay, placing it on blend mode Divide, and then added the Magic Sparkles in three placed, changing their color to a soft yellow.
