Pomegranate art from Graphic Box.

Journaling:
This year we made the pomegranate a new tradition, to celebrate New Year's Eve and a simple remembrance for my dad.

The sparkle is subtle, but I've glittered the banner and used the glitter brackets as well as the glitter snowflakes. Just not in the mood to use the upbeat colors, though. I think my dad would be pleased at how I'm celebrating my first year since his passing on New Year's Eve.

Geez, DK, I'm really sorry to hear. It's hard when sorrowful memories are tied to holidays--the contrast can be overwhelming. I like your new tradition of the pomegranate and how beautifully you've executed your pages. Happy to hear that even though the sparkle is subtle, it's there. :)

beautiful. i like the image of the pomegranate both for its mythological significance and as a lovely remembrance of your dad.

right....not a lot of glitter stuff. i should have mentioned something about glitter styles (note to self for next year).
