Journaling reads: Yes, it is hard to go sledding in Southern California with no snow, but that is where creativity enters into the equation. Omas Dairy in Lakeside created a hillside of white cottonseed for the kids to sled on. It was such a great substitute for the snow. She had so much fun dragging her little disc sled up the hillside, and down she came, experiencing the thrill of sliding down the hill, and didnt have to be cold doing so.

Process Notes: I began with the card stock from APP Pinery. I added various portions of the transfers from both AT Pinery and AT Holly, creating a base for photos. I used the inverted masking technique to add the photos of Cora, blending the edges into the transfers. I added elements along the center left edge of the layout, along with additional transfers and brushes. I placed the title, added a stroke and custom shadow, and added journaling. I added the snowflake charm from APP Winter Sunrise, masking out a portion of the string where it went around the title. I added the threaded word on top of the title, and finished the page by adding a second paper behind the first, allowing a bit to show along the right edge. I created a custom shadow at the right edge and was done!
