process | I kept this one simple. I clipped my focal photo to the large white paint layer and the other photos to the framed masks. I clipped a paper to another mask and added a quote. I recolored some stain layers and added a few embellishments.
Grief comes in waves...so difficult, especially at the time of year when others are saying, 'Be of good cheer'...my heart goes out to you, Heather. I love the yellow roses. Hugs from me.
such a beautiful and poignant tribute. a mother's love never dissipates, it's stored within to be shared with others. may her love continue for many, many generations to come.
I am sorry for the loss of your mother, Heather. I remember all your loving layouts of her in the past. A beautiful tribute. May your mother's love help you in this time.
I'm glad you took that deep breath and clicked "post." Your memories help all of us who have been in your positon. This common grief is something we all get to share--like it or not. And expressing feelings is freeing. I love how you used the birdcage and the light. You know my heart goes out to you and your family.
