Turkeys in Trees?

Who knew that wild turkeys slept in trees? And that they could fly at 55 mph? This whimsical design celebrates our national day of feasting with family and friends. Hope your holiday is filled with your favorite treats and people. Yeah for pumpkin pie! Happy Thanksgiving, y'all!

Thanks for looking!
all those Turkey feathers look like they are for show, would love to see one fly! wonderful page!

cute page! We have tons of wild turkeys in our neighborhood (they're a nuisance, actually) and I've seen them in the trees, but only occasionally do I see them fly and just a short distance. I think they have evolved to ignore people ;-)

Another interesting turkey fact, which I know from my time spent living in the woods alongside a band of wild turkeys...when they sleep deeply, turkeys are prone to losing their grip and falling out of the trees...plop plop plop, down they come with a crazy rustling and hooting. The first time this happens, it is quite startling, to say the least. Happy Thanksgiving!

Awesome card! We have some wild turkeys that wander through our field. Not as magnificent as this one!
