The Process
I began with artsy paper 4 from APP Gather in Peace. Using a technique taught in Anna Blendz live, I adjusted the level of the paper to brighten it up and add more yellow. Artsy Transfers Gather in Peace_3 was opened up. All layers were turned off except the large paint layer. The photo of the bread was clipped to this layer, duplicated with the blending mode changed to hard light. I also changed the blending mode of the paint layer to hard light. This layer was duplicated, changing the blending mode back to normal and placed under the bread group. The scanned bread recipe was clipped to it with the blending mode changed to multiply, dupicated again with the blending mode changed to color burn. I then began turning on the other layers, moving, recoloring or deleting them. A transfer from the kit was layered under the artsy transfer with the blending mode changed to color burn. A gradient layer mask was added to the wheat photo. I brushed out (hid) the blue sky (another technique taught in the AnnaBlendz class). The blending mode of the photo was changed to color burn, duplicated with the blending mode changed to darken. Journaling, embellishments, word art, stitchez and more transfers were added to complete the page.
