I am surrounded by woodlands and have hawks as daily visitors. They are beautiful,intriguing birds but not without some faults from a bird-lovers perspective. That still does not stop me from enjoying their beauty. I do admit to chasing them away when they are bothering the smaller creatures around my home.I even have named a most frequent visitor,Herb. Herb can often be found stalking near and around my yard. He does fly away when I yell at him or beat on the windows,but returns in defiance. I guess that is the essence of nature,trying to live in harmony!
