Notes on Process:
I started by rotating the template to better fit the horizontal shape of my photos. I then grabbed all the layers and moved them up toward the top of my layout, to leave enough room for the story I wanted to tell at the bottom. Photos came next, and some tweaking of the template layersremoving some, recoloring others. I pulled in transfers and overlays from the artplay palette for color, texture, and interest, and then added the Play word, which I recolored and outlined with a black stroke. I fit in the branches and embellishments and added the stitching last.
