Process:
I used the template as is, clipping my photo to the mask and then recoloring the background, petal, and leaves to match the colors in the challenge. I also added texture to the leaves by clipping on a transfer from the Wild Autumn Artplay Palette, setting the blend mode to Multiply. I did the title next, making a sticker out of the top part and giving it a sharp inner bevel; to make it gold, I clipped a transfer from the Anew Artplay Palette to it. I also beveled the lower part of the title. I added the Multimedia Branch next and recolored the flower to match the challenge. Then I wrote the story. Next I added the Twiggy Brushes and the Overlay, recolored to gray. I wanted to work in the little ice cream cone from the Summery Artplay Palette to support the theme of this layout, and I finally settled on a group of them as a sort of border on the left, to pick up the light in the moon at the very top right of the layout. I held them in place with little brads, which I made fancy by clipping a gold button to the plain brown brad. Lastly, I enhanced the light of the moon with a Fotoglow.
