The Process
Most of the work was done on the photo. It was very red on one side and washed out on the other side. Using the levels, curves and hue/saturation tools most of the color was adjusted. The photo was duplicated with the blending mode changed to screen and the opacity reduced. A composite image was created and imported onto a 12x12 page with a neutral background from APP Autumn Cheer. The photo was clipped to a fotoblendz mask. The mask was duplicated, rotated and the two layers were merged. Using a soft eraser brush, the hard edges were erased. Several transfers were layered under the photo. The branch from the kit and a MM branches 5_2 were grouped together. The gold paint from APP Autumn Cheer was clipped to the stitched leaves (blending mode changed to color burn). Several elements from MM Branches were layered above the stitched leaves and overlay 1 under the leaves. Splatters, word art and a border were added to complete the page.
