This is my mom and her best friend Flossie, who was also her maid of honor. I expect this is about 1950, in front of my grandmother's house in Newark NJ.

I added a color adjustment layer over the background and transfers to get the lovely green.
Melange Photo Blendz (the scanned photo was vintage brown, which I adjusted to gray tones and blended with the mlange photo blendz, but then I added a copy of the photo back on top to allow some of the vintage brown to show through again)
