Process:
I created this layout based on a few of the concepts from my first session of AnnaBlendz 101 Live: gradient tool blending, working with edges, masking part of another photo in the background, using paint/transfers to hide parts of photos, repeating photo colors.During class on Monday, I was amazed as I listened to Anna share her process for creating artsy pages with her designs; I didnt want the session to end. I loved hearing her perspective on blending, color and page design. As an educator, I always found that the most effective training came from those with both expertise and experience in what they were communicating. Anna definitely has both! Im really looking forward to the next two lessons!
Right: After placing the layers of the template above AP Old World solid_1, I clipped my photos to the masks. Behind the photos, I placed a transfer from AP Sports to pick up the colors from the photos and then stamped two brushes from Martial Arts No. 1. I also placed two copies of transfer_7 from AP Old World. I added an artstroke and element from AP Old World. I reduced the size of another solid paper from AP Old World and clipped it to the mask below my journaling.
If you can't read the journaling, it's about his decision to test for his brown belt on his birthday rather than have a party.
